I stopped playing Diablo IV

Leading up to its release and the weeks following it, Diablo IV was considered among the best games of 2023. It was all gaming publications talked about. There were many headlines talking about the different experiences people had playing it.

It was the same for me. I played it for about three weeks before I grew tired of it. The crazy thing is that I didn't even notice that I stopped playing Diablo IV.

What could the reasons be?

Diablo IV players are older

I grew up playing Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. That was in my teens. Then I played Diablo III in my twenties. Now, I'm in my thirties, I don't have the time to sit and play a similar game. I've already played it before.

There's that pain in nostalgia that I wallowed in when I played Diablo III. I don't dwell on it anymore. I grew out of it.
